#1 Gift, Evangelism (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My enthusiasm for evangelism caught me off guard. It had never occurred to me that I was capable. On the other hand, I was never convinced that I couldn’t. During the men’s hike with our church, that gift emerged. Now that I’m aware that I have it, I think I need to shape it into a useful instrument from God.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Encouragement has been my strongest gift. I have been aware that I had this gift for a long time and have been molding and crafting it into something positive and uplifting.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Easily. Parental and church upbringing.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Completing a project and receiving a heartfelt thank-you. I would gladly do something regardless of pay and as long as it’s done well, and I receive a thank you from something, it gives me joy!

2. Being included. Feeling like I belong. I had gone through a period of time where I felt like I was shut out and that was really damaging. Being included brings me joy and fulfillment.

3. Dance. Whether it’s Lindy, Salsa, Ballroom or Contra, I love doing it and it gives me great satisfaction, joy and fulfillment

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I enjoy working with anyone. As long as I can establish a connection, somehow.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Immigration and segregation. I have never been able to understand any need for any church to turn their backs on anyone. That doesn’t sound very Christian to me at all.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was baptized into the faith at birth. I grew up in the Roman Catholic school system from K-12 and had even gone through a Jesuit associated college with the University of Regina. After a while I had entered the spiritual wilderness before finding my faith again.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

St. Gerard’s Church / Yorkton, SK, Canada / Alter Boy / 4 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Coming to Seacoast

Overcoming self-esteem issues; I don’t need to be with someone else to feel complete; I don’t need to be anyone’s footstool; and so forth

Going to dance and building social skills

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Death of my parents

Spending away money that that meant to go in my savings

Spending a night in the hospital after a bad night of drinking
