Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I grew up in Catholic school. Ten years ago we moved to North Carolina and started attending a church from my dad’s coworker. We attended a play there that touched my soul like I had never experienced. It was then that I decided to have a relationship with God and not just attend church. I have struggled over the years but I am so glad to have a church to call home now.
Vacation bible school, food ministry, child care, have also helped in a variety of other ways
Trindale Community Church
Moving to North Carolina helped me grow as a person and change my relationship in Christ.
Having such caring and supportive parents has helped me grow into the person I am today. They recently helped me out of a toxic living environment.
Deciding that I want to be a social worker has helped shape me into the compassionate person I desire to be. Although I didn’t finish school yet, it helped me realize my desire to help those in need and less fortunate.
Dealing with depression and anxiety. I can help relate to others going through similar circumstances.
I am currently going through a separation/divorce. I grew apart from Christ and myself in that relationship and it was very toxic to me.
One thing that I’ve always struggled with is my weight and body image. But who I am has made me the person I am today.
