#1 Gift, Administration (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am very organized and I have a passion for bringing people in to share their talents with our congregation. I like to share my ideas and programs with others for the betterment of our church family.

#2 Gift, Giving (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I KNOW God gives us everything we have so I have always tried to use His blessings in my life to share with others. We have a bigger house than we need but we open it as much as we can so others can gather and share in our church community. It makes me feel good to give to others, especially ones who cannot or will not be able to experience things that I have in my life (Haiti)

#3 Gift, Evangelism (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I like to share what God has done in my life with other people. My experiences are unique but someone (if I share the experiences with them) may be able to relate my blessings or difficulties to something in their own life and benefit from it.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. My job at church. I have prayed about serving in ministry for the past 10 years. Now that I finally get to do it everyday, makes my heart very happy. I thank God several times a day for allowing me to serve in this role in His kingdom!

2. Serve others. I like to bless others in our community with ideas I have to bring them joy. Parents Blessing Teachers is a program I have been doing for the past 10 years in my children’s school. I’ve done Ministry partner blessings at my old church in IN. Things like that allow me to show others how their simple acts of kindness bring joy to others.

3. My family. Even though it is often complicated and not always peaceful, I know that God has given me these people to share joy and hardships throughout my lifetime. I am thankful that I have been blessed with a husband who has been with me 30 years and 3 kids who have been uniquely created for me to raise!

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love working with the age I am assigned to at church. Elementary. I especially like the 2nd- 5th grade age. They are wanting to please, hungry for knowledge and really fun kids to be around.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in Catholic Church. Was bored with the way the service ran. I felt like I never got anything out of the message. Met some new friends in WI, tried their church. Immediately connected with the music and the message, I felt, was preached just to me. I had dedicated my life in 10th grade before I was confirmed in the Catholic Church. I rededicated my life in 2000 and was baptized.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

North Ridge Church, Marshfield WI – Women’s Ministry Core Team. Taught preschool and elementary classes. Worship team special performer

South Union Christian Church, Bloomington IN. Special Events Coordinator for all ministries, Children’s Ministry Core Team, Women’s Ministry Core Team, Worship Ministry, Taught all ages in Kid’s classes.

Orange Alliance Church – Barre VT. Preschool and Elementary teacher. Created Women’s ministry events for church

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Watching how God used me and other close friends in Wisconsin to bring my husband to Christ

Having a powerful spiritual experience while praying for a close friend with cancer in IN

Feeling God’s presence so strongly during different points in my ministry in IN.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Autism

Not feeling worthy or accepted

Dealing with depression and anxiety of a loved one

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To be a missionary full time – traveling to different countries working with families and children.

4. To create schools around the country that could provide safe spaces for life long care of people with special needs.

5. To solve the problem of addiction and over population of un- wanted children in our society. Make a place for these kids that have been unfairly treated where they can grow and thrive in a loving, safe environment.
