#1 Gift, Evangelism (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe I have this gift because I like to share ideas and thoughts that make people think and by sharing the Gospel I am encouraging the other person(s) to steer their life(lives) towards a positive direction and lifestyle and what is greater than that.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I do know for sure I have this gift because I have always loved seeing other people happy and with my testimony from where I was I don’t wish for anyone else to feel or be in the position I’ve been in so if I can help lift someone up I will.

#3 Gift, Teaching (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel I have this gift because the best teachers are continuous learners, I love to spread what I know and then dive back for more and if I find something new I like to pass that on. Especially when it’s the truth. I like to share ideas and thoughts and I’m a bit of an out of the box thinker so I can provide a new perspective on things at times and help other understand something through examples or making it simple.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Gardening

2. Art (Drawing and Music)

3. Cooking

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I’m compassionate and laid back so I really tend to get along with all people of different backgrounds young and old also but have a hard time getting along with narcissist. I believe because we have opposite characteristics so naturally there is friction but more on their part. I suppose I love working with all people in general since I’m empathetic and humble.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Exciting; building the new church, new ministries/groups that will follow that, love thy Neighbor, the need for worship members/musicians, how the youth are directly involved,
Concerning; an extra 5-10 minutes between services to prepare and to be in less of a rush, at the new church possibly having a school/classes?, At the new church having a room outside the church for public access 24/7 to come and sit in or pray in and have a moment in the lords house even when the church is closed.,

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Okay I grew up with my parents coming from Catholic background but both on their own strayed away for their own reasons but also from the same cause. Because it was cold, condemning, harsh and forceful. That is important because God and Jesus were still talked about but only very little casually. As I grew up I was bullied alot and struggled with mental health and addiction and always looked for an escape or relief. In my early teen years I had some close family members pass away and started questioning about death and what is life. I looked into religion and spirituality, because God and Jesus were talked about even that little bit growing up, I may have been agnostic, but I still couldn’t deny that there was a God, so I leaned to Buddhism and became a follower of Buddha until my late teen years I fell away from that and got more into spiritualism and paganism, until I broke down because I was so lost and confused and in such a pit of darkness and then my older brother passed away. Then I just begged God if he was real to deliver me from my wretched life and free me from the suffering and addiction because if not I was going to end up in the same position as my brother. I asked for two specific things other than deliverance and being free from my past and the following year after my brothers passing I was continuously hit with learning how to love myself and how to hold myself up and being pulled to Christianity but also becoming aware that it isn’t just religion there is a spiritual side of Christianity. Year two both of the things I asked for came into manifestation and I couldn’t be more blessed. As I lean more to God for my life I prayed for my family and I have now been baptized and now year 3 my family is starting to come to Christ as well. This is why I believe because the Lord flipped my life around.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I have not belonged to any church prior to Sand Springs.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Moving to a new state to get a restart/refresh on my environment (twice)

Beating addiction and staying sober

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being bullied throughout school, I learned to stand up not only for myself but any other who couldn’t or wouldn’t stand up for themselves

Deaths of multiple family members, I’ve learned to be tender hearted for those who are soft/broken hearted

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

When I was younger I always felt left out and different from others and I knew something was missing in my life. When I came to Christ I knew God called me and I didn’t question anymore why I was different.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

St. Edward’s Catholic Church, Athens, TX. Teacher for Wednesday classes with the children. Years involved about 2 1/2 years

Los Pentecostales de Athens, Athens, TX. Sunday school helper. Years involved about 2 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Moving to Texas from Illinois, it has made me go out of my comfort zone in a good way and got me closer to Christ. God is talked about more in Texas from what I noticed.

Being able to witness to my cousin and invite her to church. It showed me that trusting in God will let everything fall in place for the good.

Being able to witness to one of my coworkers by sharing how God changed my life. This allowed me to let go and let God take over on what to say.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Running away from home at a young age. It showed me that looking for things of the world will get me nowhere.

Losing my grandpa to lung cancer, it’s part of how I came to Christ my whole family started seeking God after his death.

Failing at things in life would discourage me greatly but now when I fail I’m reminded that perseverance is key and God is in the picture now, amen!

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I am a sinner saved by the grace of God alone, which is completed in the perfect life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I am undeserving and unable to provide anything to my salvation. My salvation can only be found in Jesus Christ, my Lord.

I grew up in a Christian home and was taught the Truths of the gospel at an early age. I told my mom one night when I was young that I wanted to believe in Jesus as my Savior, for the forgiveness of my sins. Throughout high school and some parts of college, I believed all the Truths of Christ, but was in a place of more head knowledge and outward clean living than an obsession with the person of Jesus and a relationship with Him. A key turning point for me was at a family camp when we had a speaker on missions. He conveyed the Truths that I had heard before but, by the grace of God, I was moved to start looking outwardly instead of inwardly in my faith in Jesus. This has been working in me to in two major ways: one is to be applying the Truths to how I live in all areas of my life ( this is a big work in progress) and second is to spread the gospel of Jesus to whomever is willing to listen ( another area that I am need a lot of practice in ). I serve the only God and want others to willing serve Him too.

#1 Gift, Mercy Showing (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe that everyone deserves a chance at redemption, it’s never too late. I have always felt a deep appreciation for life, especially in moments of my years in high school and through out life where I nearly ended my own. I’m far past feeling that now, but ever since the last attempt, when I wished in my head for the world to show me a sign, any sign at all that I shouldn’t do it, and I remembered my sister who had passed when I was young, I remembered that I made a promise to myself to keep living for her and to never let the world change who I am. That memory in my moment of extreme peril saved me, my eyes felt like they had opened up to a new world, so I consider life sacred, because we never know what someone is going through or has gone through, we all have our own struggles and challenges, and it’s never to late to be saved from that ocean of darkness.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe that sometimes we get so stuck in our own heads and allow ourself to be overwhelmed with our struggles, especially if we have been fighting them for so long that sometimes we fall. It can be hard to get back up and keep going, especially if the only voice in our head is our own. I know the feel all too well myself, and because of it, I always wish to encourage and keep helping those in need by offering the story’s of my experiences and what I’ve learned, words of encouragement that show if you have fallen, you are not back to square zero, you’ve only fallen, the path is still right there, you haven’t lost, you just have to get back up and keep moving forward, even if it’s one step at a time, any amount of progress is a show case that you have not lost. Even when it feels bleak, remember that every morning the sun still comes up, darkness doesn’t last forever, an that in our moments of darkness is where the light shines the brightest just like all the stars in the sky that guide us along our way.

#3 Gift, Serving (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always felt happy just being helpful in any way that I can, I love to help and make a difference, no matter how big or small, especially to those in need. I’ve been on that end myself for a long portion of my life, so I know firsthand the many struggles and worries one could have. Anything from worrying about if you’re going to eat, be out on the streets because you can’t make a payment to keep living in your house/apartment, to even feelings of loneliness and depression, feeling closed off from the world and not having anyone to help you adding onto that feeling of being alone. I never had help in anything for the majority of my entire life, so if I can do something now to help make a difference, it means a lot to me, because I know how it feels to be on that end of stick and wish someone could help you.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love working on myself, and improving myself in every way I possibly can, from my physical and mental health, learning and adapting to difficulties, to learning how to keep being a better person then I was yesterday and continue to keep that light and hopefulness I have in me for myself but for the sake of others as well.

2. I love helping others, especially to those in need, I just like being helpful anything from completing a small task that nobody wants to do or that doesn’t make much of a difference to something really important or life changing. The world can also be a dark place with many trials and tribulations, anything can happen at a moments notice, so if I can help by being a light in those dark moments then I will want to do whatever it takes to help by being that goodness that the world needs more of.

3. I love to be around those I love and hold dear to my heart, it reminds me that I’m not alone. I cherish every single second I’m with them because there were many points in my life where I had absolutely nothing, no one to support me, no one help, no one to care, everything felt taken away from me, I only had myself to rely on. So now, that I am where I am at now, I am so grateful and I feel so lucky to be here. I’m happy to simply just be alive, I’m happy that I didn’t choose to end my life when I last attempted, because I never would have made it to the other side to see that there’s still so much that’s worth it to keep living for. Every person, every experience, every second that the sun still keeps shining, every chirp the morning birds make, the thought of being lost in death and living in the nothingness of oblivion and not being able to appreciate all that is life, is one I never wish to come close to ever again. I’m just happy I get to live life, and I love that I get to live it with those I love.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I don’t know who I love to work with the most, there’s still so much to learn but I’m sure I will find out through this journey I’m about to make.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

There’s still a whole lot I don’t know about, but I’m sure I’ll find out and keep learning more about it to come to that answer.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

The process of how a became a Christian was a gradual one. Over the course of mostly my entire life, I have been on my own, relying only on myself to keep myself surviving and deal with my life obstacles whether external and internal. In the year 2020 when Covid was rampant, I lost my mother to the virus, I could not even say goodbye when she passed because of the hospitals protocol of safety for visitors. A few years passed from that day, I lost my uncle who was the closest I had to a father. Depressed, and stricken with an extreme loneliness, I felt I had lost everything that kept me connected to my past memories with them. Gratefully, the Hansen family had taken me in, and though adjusting was rocky, they have taken me into their home and given me a second opportunity to have a family. All the while that I have been searching for this deep connection that I felt I had lost, something that feels like I’m not alone, we had been going to church and though not all the time I would attend, every time I did I felt different, I felt fear, sadness, longing, but also acceptance. After awhile of questioning these emotions I felt that maybe this is what I need, and the more I heard and learned about god and Christ when previously I never knew anything about any of this topic, the more I felt drawn to it, to know more. I wanted to be apart of it because I felt affected by it, I felt it in my very soul and core that this was different, and I wanted to take a leap of faith and try it.
