S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Paul UIik for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Giving (53%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Monetarily I’m in a position that currently wouldn’t prohibit consistent giving albeit
it may not be huge sums.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (40%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I’m self employed and deal with people on a daily basis that sometimes need encouragement to “get the job done properly”. In my experience, a lot of times one must use a feather rather than a stick in most instances.

#3 Gift, Teaching (37%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I haven’t been through everything in my line of work but have been through a bunch. The learning and teaching process is never ending.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Although, it’s probably not enough time(s), I do enjoy spending time with my wife and family doing things. 2020 was brutal as far as that goes. Hence, a lot more time was spent on the the following two items.

2. I work…told too much. But throughout all of the ups and downs I truly enjoy what I do.

3. If I’m not working for business, then I’m fixing, updating, or otherwise working on something at home. Not 100% of the time but it seems there is never ending projects to accomplish. Also, enjoy going up north.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

We have a couple of Family run businesses. Mom, Brothers, Wife, Son’s, extended Family. Ranging from 87 years to 18 years of age. Deal with regular accounts on a daily basis and in some instances have dealt with same individuals for 20+ years. Meet new people all the time.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I’m just looking for a Church where I can learn, hopefully grow, and feel comfortable in.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Raised Catholic

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Went to Catholic grade school…St. Mary’s Elm Grove, WI…1973 to 1980

Belonged and sent our children to St. Henry’s in Watertown then to St. Jerome’s after moving to Oconomowoc….1998 to 2007 or so

Since that time maybe going to Church (up until recently) about 20 total times.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Family

Marriage

Kids

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Father died in 1972 leaving 9 children of which I was the 2nd youngest

Leaving a partnership with one Brother to hopefully (it was a gamble) better secure a future for my own Family.

Losing that Brother to Pancreatic Cancer in 2018

Wrapping It Up

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Change the entire public educational system in the USA

4. Make all legitimate contributions to charity 100% tax deductable with no limitations

5. Run this Nation as a true Christian Based, Freedom Loving, Constitutional Representative Republic as the Founders envisioned
