1. It brings me joy to attend MCC San Antonio. Of all the churches that I have attended through out my life, MCCSA fulfills my spiritual needs more that any other has. You can fill the love when you enter the building.
2. I love spending time with friends and family.
3. My creativity brings me joy. Be it in cooking for others, sewing, refinishing furniture or building something like a Santa Claus chair for the church.
I enjoy working with people of many ages and types. It is hard to pin point any type.
I have noticed that sometimes there is a lack of communication in planning committees. And sometimes there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
Born and raised in church. Baptized as an infant. Around 1980 I was baptized as an adult when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
When I was a teen, Rec Hal Kimmins was the pastor of our church. He and his wife were also the leader of our Methodist Youth Fellowship group. They set up visits to other churches so we could learn about other religions. He wanted us to have a general knowledge of other religions so that when we became adults we could choose what religion we wanted to follow. That was a very progressive idea back in the early 1960’s. Unfortunately, the congregation did not agree so they voted him out of the church. I personally think it the pastor and his wife were great.
Even though I was the only girl in my family and the youngest child, my dad taught me that I can do anything that I set my mind to do. He taught me to fix my own bike by the time I was 10. He taught all of us gun safety and how to shoot a gun. I worked on cars with him. I was my dad’s shadow.
I have been married twice and divorced twice. My first divorce left me to be a single mother with no child support. It was not easy but it turned out okay. My main focus was on my kids.
I have been laid off from my job once and I have been fired once but through neither one of those thing kept me down. You can knock me down but you can’t keep me down.
Wrapping It Up

1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. I would move to San Antonio so I could be closer to MCC and the church family.
4. I would have an elevator installed at the church so people with disabilities could have access to the sanctuary
