As a woman who comes from a low income family background. I feel that no one should feel as if they’ve are less worthy because they are not capable of affording certain things so I’m always willing s to be someone to assist.

I think of close family or friends or even myself who have not always did the right things in life so who am I to judge or not have mercy on someone who may have just been down or not uneducated in the matter.

[H]eart

1. I love speaking with people about life topics in general whether health, beauty, government or things that are happening in the world. That stimulates my brain and helps me to get to understand that person more and learn some things for myself.

2. I love reading books on a daily as well. I usually gravitate towards motivational/spiritual books more often than others because I feel knowledge is key so keeping yourself educating and willing to learn about new things or information helps you to be a more well rounded individual.

3. Lastly helping other brings joy and fulfillment to me. The feeling I get when I know that I was able to assist someone is such a gratifying feeling.

I like to work with all ages. Each age group brings something different and it helps make any place more functional due to these age groups having different perspectives on situations.

As I start getting more involved in ministry, I am excited to see what gifts God naturally placed in my heart and how I it will be a benefit to the church and what I will gain from being in ministry

[E]xperience

At 24 I realized the life I was living was not acceptable and I was always depressed or having anxiety and at that point I realized it didn’t matter what I did the situation never changed. So one day I just decided while listening to music to read my bible and try to get more active in becoming a Christian

Going away to college and meeting my best friends who are very active Christians and their faith in God

Having a parent who come from not the most best background and showing me a different perspective of how life can be if you work hard, pray and take chances

Being rejected from certain situations or people to realize who I am as a person

Having a parent that showed you the financial aspect of how life should be but didn’t show the emotional love you desired and needed

Family who are low income and seeinf how they view things in life makes me want motivate individuals who are in simular situations to want to do better for themselves and not end up like this.

Having a parent who is not emotional and can say or do things to you that are very hurtful has made it hard for me to trust people especially men.
