Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

In Jr. high, had a Christian friend who invited me to go to church camp with her. Brought up Catholic and always had a sense of God and of praying. Accepted Christ in jr. high and so thankful that Jesus loved me enough to die for my sin so that I could be forgiven and be a child of God.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Primarily have served at Pathways in women’s Bible Studies for around 20 years, and in more recent years at youth and seniors ministries through kids club and SrLife ministry

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

That my friend in jr. high reflected Christ, and over the years has served as a mentor

That friend Anne encouraged me to step up and lead Women’s studies. She first won my heart by walking alongside me through a difficult time in my marriage.

My son’s mental illness and my divorces have both opened up my heart to recognize the sovereignty and provisions of God. Since I have been a recipient of God’s mercy and love, I’ve learned to trust God in difficult circumstances and I want to encourage others who face similar burdens and struggles.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Already lauded to in #2 and #3 above, divorce was devastating, as was/is son’s mental illness and resulting homelessness and fractured relationships. These crises have encouraged me to go deep with God in seeking him, finding comfort through his word and from others, and has helped me to be much more empathetic with others that I otherwise would be.

A very painful marriage has given me instant understanding of other women who face rejection or other difficulties in marriage.
