S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Evangelism (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My natural empathy and background in psychology helps me to see and feel things from the perspective of others. This ability allows me to engage with others in a way that doesn’t seem obnoxious or self serving.

#2 Gift, Mercy Showing (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
We all make mistakes. Who are any of us to not feel for someone or the least of these who may have momentarily fell, or just doesn’t know yet? The least of these are our brothers and sisters. How we love others is how we love Jesus.

#3 Gift, Administration (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Organization is extremely important to me. I love being busy and busy for a purpose! I completed BA high honors while raising three babies. You have to have some organizational (and coping skills😂) skills to be able to do that!

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Serving God through kids ministry is AMAZING! The families, the volunteers, the children, the organization, the details behind the scenes, all of it! <3

2. Community outreach! Loving the least of these, showing them THEY ARE WORTHY! When society says no, God always says, come to me you are my sweet beautiful creation!

3. My family. Everything I do and think, it’s all for God. God gave me a family to love and to teach to live in Him. If I’m not successful within my home, I’m not successful in life. <3

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I LOVE EVERYONE!!!!
God brings me where He needs me.
So far that tends to be with children and the least of these.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

What excites me is that my church is working largely with children others would consider broken or difficult. We continually work and try new things to connect with broken families, fostered youth, and young growing hearts.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
