Thank you Jeanie Scott for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
Matthew 12:30 “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” After losing valedictorian by 1/2 point in 8th grade, I decided to be “perfect” in high school. I made sure I did all my assignments in school perfectly. I attended Sunday school and did my lessons. Then I heard an evangelist preach on Matthew 12:30, and how you couldn’t be on the fence–you were either for Christ or against Him. I did not fully comprehend the salvation message before that, and committed my heart to the Lord.

Reading Watchman Nee’s The Release of the Spirit – realizing that only through submitting to Christ through brokenness can we minister to others.
“Saturation Summer,” Campus Crusade summer of discipleship and evangelism in South Lake Tahoe–My brother was the director and yanked me out of a bad trajectory in my personal life to be a part of the discipleship program.
Helping my parents when they were unable to help themselves. I stayed with them while they had medical problems and helped them for over two years.
Walking by faith through acknowledging and dealing with infidelity in marriage. Still walking….still walking….
Dealing with (or maybe not dealing so well) with family member who sexually abused my daughter when she was three. As my daughter has matured in Christ, guiding her through her own healing. Realizing that I had been sexually abused by a family member at a very young age. I was sixty when the realization came to my conscious, and a whole lot of of my gut-reactions to things throughout my life all of a sudden made sense. Any PTSD I still have is being healed day-by-day through walking by faith.
As a brand-new baby Christian and a foreign exchange student to Argentina, being placed in a family where spiritism–mediums, palm readers, tarot card readers, were used by the family. I have reconnected with the daughters through Facebook, and feel that God is not done with my fight to share the gospel with them. One of them has gone the way of her mother and beyond in believing in principalities without regard to God, Creator of all things, and Who will one day cast all evil into the lake of fire.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. Discipling my children and grandchildren to be warriors for Christ.
4. Being a strong warrior myself and witnessing to my Argentine “sisters,”–from the family I lived with.
5. Teaching others the art of spiritual warfare.
