Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a Christian home, was baptized when I was young (and again as a teenager). I always struggled being grounded in my faith. 3 years ago, I decided that I didn’t love where I was in life & felt very far from God (because of the decisions I had made until that point). I decided enough was enough and I came home, returned to the river, and have worked very hard to further my relationship with God & follow His will for my life wholeheartedly. My relationship with Him is still growing deeper everyday, but I was never this grounded in my faith in the past, so this is a whole new experience for me, & I love it.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

The River
Marion, In
I’ve always been involved in children’s ministry, but for the last 5 months I’ve been involved with student ministries as well. 9 years (moved away for about a year).

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being involved in a church build.

Being married & have a child.

Always being surrounded by strong leaders who love Jesus & speak life into me.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Divorced parents/being rejected by my father.

Living in my sin & making poor choices because of that.

Death of my grandpa.
Going through a traumatic experience with my husband (car accident).

1. My Relationship with GOD

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To be a children’s pastor

4. To be involved in overseas missions

5. Set up some kind of outreach program for foster/adoptive parents.
