Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

3. Music. I’ve never been talented at playing anything but I make a mean playlist!

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Babies and toddlers (but that could be because I’m 37 weeks pregnant and have baby fever right now).

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Child care. I used to help my mom volunteer in the nursery and in my teen years I helped out in Little Lights; I really enjoyed both of those at the time.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born and raised in a Christian home so God has always been a part of my life. There have been peaks and valleys in my spiritual journey but through struggles with anxiety in the last 10 years I have learned more and more to trust in God and his greater plan for me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Mexicali trip, Gateway CRC 2005

Little Lights, New Life Church, sometime in the early 2000’s

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Changing careers to work with dogs and eventually starting a home business

Meeting my husband and navigating struggles with alcohol

Developing chronic anxiety, learning to manage it in a healthier way and being able to come off of prescribed medication

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being in a job that caused a ton of stress and high anxiety

Navigating my 20’s while knowing I was very fortunate on paper but still struggling mentally

My Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 and that was absolutely terrifying. She has since gone through treatment and is in good health but that was a very tumultuous time in our family.
