S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Amanda Mason for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I grew up in church and I gave my life to Christ when I was 11 years old. I was an active member in my youth group and really strived to live for Christ. As I “grew up”, I began to stray and went out into the world and began to do worldy things. I had my daughter shortly after I graduated high school (2004) and I tried to get back on track but the world kept pulling me in. I went back and forth for a lot of years. Shortly after my son was born in 2011, I decided it was time for me to get it together and get my life back on track not only for myself but for my children. So, we started going back to church. I was an active member at the church I grew up in for a few years and we are currently seeking a new church family. We have been visiting TPC for about a year now. I am certainty not a perfect christian by any means but I strive to live life to show my children the way to Christ.
Youth group – taught for about 2 years on Wednesday nights and Sunday morning. Planned and helped with several fundraisers.
Children’s ministry-helping with children’s church and Sunday school on a occasion.
Feed the Homeless ministry – cooking for and serving the homeless.
Hospitality group – helping with dinners and church events.
Going to church with my grandparents when I was little. It was the high light of my week.
Church camps. The experience of having so many believers in one room worshiping is an awesome experience.
My old pastors wife Joy. Just watching her worship the Lord and feeling her compassion made me want to be a better Christian and mom.
My father passing away at an early age from cancer.
I was molested as a child.
