S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Amber Dietrich for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Even though I myself may not be financially rich I always find a way to give something to as many causes as I can. I realize that I am rich in other ways of my life and want to help as may people as I can in any way that I can.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My life has been filled with many twist and turns, ups and downs and I think that each one of those events has made me in the type of person that likes to believe that everyone has good in them even if at the moment we are seeing the worse and I want to give everyone that chance and time to show us what they really have inside of them.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Volunteering at schools and working with children and helping teachers!

2. Spending time with my family and friends, even if it’s just talking. I love being surrounded by those important in my life.

3. Attending Church service, I always leave feeling happy no matter the mood I was in earlier and if for some reason I miss it I feel incomplete.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Children or the elderly, When I was younger I worked in a retirement home and I loved helping the elderly in any way that I could and now I volunteer in schools and love working with the children. You come across so many in each of these age groups that just need some extra care, love, and attention and I try to do that.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I would love to volunteer with the children, I would also like to greet others as they come to service or as I learn more about the church help others to do the same.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
