My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Christian neighbor witnessing to me, then gave me a book to read.
At the end of the book was a call to accept Christ as my savior, and I did.

Church secretary, church janitor, cook for 55+, help kids in AWANA learn Bible verses. Church nursery.

Gladys Athern mentoring me after I became a Christian.

Bible study classes I’ve taken over many years.

Learning to love myself.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My dad’s alcoholism. I can recognize it in others upon meeting them.

Not loving myself. I can also recognize this in others, and I have great compassion for them.

Cancer.
