Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love to work hard, producing something new or improved in some way for the benefit of others or a larger body.

2. I enjoy listening to music and marveling at others’ talents shared.

3. I love to engage others in conversation for the purpose of their encouragement or building confidence in who God made them to be.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love to work with adults of various ages. I gain the most from my elders and enjoy interacting with people in their 50s and 60s. However, I am also passionate about students as they are moving toward challenging life decisions.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Biblical fluency is a key concern for myself and others. I am excited by the widespread of the gospel and am encouraged in DFW to have so many people from around the world as our neighbors because that means we have the opportunity to know them and share the Good News.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I accepted Christ as a young child but finally understood God’s free gift of grace for me as college Senior. Faced with my own sin and depravity, I understood that my effort to be good enough would never suffice and I needed a savior. I now live each day with freedom to by myself as God continues to work in and through me so that He is glorified.

Childrens Ministry in a variety of churches

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Never doubting my parents’ love for me as their cherished child.

Having the good fortune to do life with quality people at TAMU that became dear friends.

Working in a variety of industries and roles to expose me to the good and bad of the working world, increasing my thankfulness for what I have.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Extended unemployment and career transition

Financial strain and insecurity

Rejection in dating and feeling inadequate.
