Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I grew up going to church with my grandmother. One Sunday morning when I was 16, I heard a voice call my name. I thought it was my grandmother until I heard it a second time. It was a voice that I known my entire life so much that I thought it was grandmother. After hearing the voice call my name a second time I decided to give my life to Christ.
I’ve served in a volunteer capacity for the Women’s Ministry at Kingdom Fellowship
I went to a Catholic Highschool and during this time I had the opportunity to attend a spiritual retreat my senior year. I was able to silence the noise and really reflect on my relationship with God. I was also able to learn about the young women who were classmates – I learned that each person has a story. I also learned that we have to show compassion to others because we do not know what internal battles people are fighting.
My mother has always inspired me to work hard and accomplish my goals. She has also required excellence from me and she gives me the fuel to go after my dreams.
My grandmothers are both strong, spiritual women who have shaped me. I lean on them for spiritual guidance and support. They are both fearless matriarchs who have inspired me to love with compassion and strength.
My father was not thrilled about my birth. Although he always helped my mom financially, we have never had much of a relationship. However, I learned that I have Father in heaven who has loved before I was in my mother’s womb. He watches over me and protects me better than any earthly father could have.
In college, I worked under the leadership of a woman who challenged me in every way. She once said she did not like my personality. For some reason, there was something in me that she disliked. It hurt for a while until I realized that her issue with me had everything do with her and very little do with me. God does not make mistakes and I was created in his image.
I’ve always had trouble with standardized testing such that it created so much anxiety for me. Just the thought of having to take a standardized test crippled me. Over the years, I learned to quiet my fears and anxiety with prayer. In 2015, I passed the Illinois Bar Exam on my first attempt.
