This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Romans 1:16-17, I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus. His love has radically changed my life and I find every opportunity to share it with hurting and broken people.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Proverbs 16:24, Pleasant words are sweet to the soul and health to the bones. I find joy in encouraging others. People long to feel they are needed and appreciated. And I try to communicate the love Jesus has for them by being uplifting and encouraging.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
You are never more like Jesus than when you are giving. I believe this with all my heart. Jesus gave it ALL for us. Everything I am and everything I have is His… my job is to steward it for His glory. Whether that be with my finances, my time, my energy, my job… He deserves it all.

[H]eart

1. I love to pray for people individually. I love when the Spirit takes over and speaks directly into the heart of the other person. Nothing is better than being a vessel for the presence of God to work in someone else’s life.

2. Worship. I love love love to sing and dance for Jesus. As a teen, I spent years speaking unhealthy lyrics and dancing in unholy ways, that my body longs to dance and sing for my King.

3. I love to share what Jesus has done for me. I believe we all have a story- God has created us uniquely, but He also created us to share our story so that it helps someone else. My story is different from yours… but someone out there needs to hear it.. to be encouraged by it. The love of Jesus is life changing. And I want to share it with whoever will listen.

I have a heart for the lost. The depressed. The addicts. The mentally challenged. Because where much grace is needed, much grace is given! And I know where they can find victory to overcome. I prefer youth or adults.

I am a leader. I find the most excitement when the church operates as a “well-oiled machine”. I enjoy teaching and sharing the Word, but that is hard for me to do when things are not organized and flowing efficiently.

[E]xperience

I felt the call of Jesus at a young age (12). Was heavily involved with the youth and desired to please Him with my life. At the age of 27, I began feeling like I was bound by chains of religion instead of being in a nurturing relationship with a loving God. I began an intentional time of going deeper into Him and found an ocean of Love… for me… Just as I am. He revealed that He could never love me any more or any less than right now. Because His love is not based on my performance, but what has already been done by Jesus. This set me free! And my passion to live for Him is stronger than ever before.

New Fellowship Baptist Church, Lithia Springs, GA. Assisted Youth Pastor and helped in Sunday School and Bus ministry. 2000-2004

West Ridge, Dallas, GA. Singles Ministry 2014-2015

I was saved and raised in church but I also lived in the world as a teenager and young adult. I am a mix of a young and old Christian. I can understand and identify with both seasoned and infant Christians.

Completed a 12 step with Celebrate Recovery @ Bethany Baptist Church in 2014- Now I am able to show love and acceptance to those who are using substances to fill a void meant for Jesus and His Holy Spirit.

Had a child out of wedlock in 2015- Once I had a son, I had a revelation of Gods unconditional love for us.

Parents divorced in 2017 after 30 years of marriage – Able to understand the feeling of being abandoned and the “daddy issues” that can arise and hinder our relationship with God the Father

Had a homosexual relationship for 4 years while in and shortly after high school – Gave me a heart for all types of people. Homosexuality is a way of reaching out for love and acceptance. This void can be filled with the love of Jesus and it is the church’s responsibility to show love and not condemnation to those who are seeking Gods love in different ways.

I was a victim of domestic violence in 2009- No matter where we are, we can trust that God is going to take care of us. He has good things planned for His children, and nothing can separate us from His love. He will never leave us or forsake us. The enemy may try to scare us.. but he cannot touch us in the name of Jesus!
