[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Helping others find a better way in life through God’s Word because God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can ask, think or image. God is able and He won’t fail.

2. Show others how to apply the Word to their everyday living in order to live a victorious life in Christ. God’s Word is alive and how we can use it to let our light so shine so men may see His good works to have a desire to want to be live for Christ as well.

3. Encourage others to hold on to their faith, trust God and believe in His word because it stands true yesterday, now and forever more. God is faithful.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love to work with Young Adults the most, ages 18-45. Being able to help them stay away from making many of the mistakes that my generation experienced to live a better life in Christ is priceless.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Christians putting aside differences and come together to help build up one another to edify the body of Christ. All of us makes up the village or the body of Christ, this is the only way to be truly effective… operating in our gifts no matter how each other looks or lack.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in the church, learned about Christ at an early age, recognized I had an anger issue at 7 years old, read everything in the word about anger, gave my life to Christ and continued my journey moving forward now.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Mt. Horeb MBC, Houston, TX. I served in Jr Mission ( Young Adult Women’s Ministry for over 20 years in church, local (city), district, state and nation wide positions. It has become a great passion to help other young adults along their journey.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Serving as an officer on the national young adult auxiliary has taught me how other like minded christians serve God the same way in our country and how powerful (how much we got done together) was amazing!

Helping other young women in the church grow spiritually in their walk while serving as a leader in the church.

Being able to see how I’m able to touch the lives of others during my walk today, male, female, children and families. I love to build christ centered relationships with others and those around them.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Stepping out of a position too soon only because I served a long time and wanted others to experience the same when they were not ready, which caused the group to dissolve or lack in participation.

Others negativity of me while serving in my gifts, only because they want what they think I have. It actually comes natural and when they try to take over it doesn’t flow the same way because it is not their gift. Some try to tear whatever it is down when they can’t get the glory.

Trying to explain or get an understanding with others when they have no desire to get an understanding, only to control what it is they want you to do. So I had to learn to fight the good fight and keep the faith to help those in need because we were made to have a better relationship together and in Christ.
