[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I went to church as a child and probably asked Christ into my heart 100 times in fear that I wasn’t doing it right due to never feeling instantaneous change upon my request. This reflects my all or nothing personality, ability to have grant/unrealistic expectations, and my lack of patients. All of which God has been slowly sanding the edges off of over the last 20 years. I was genuinely seeking God as a teen, but did not have any consistent/knowledgeable examples to learn from. When I got married and moved away from home I hit an all time low and knew I needed more/stability/truth/acceptance/understanding. So I turned to scripture and Jesus and he’s been leading me in all aspects of my life since then.
