Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a believer in 2nd grade when I first understood the gospel. However, it was not until someone discipled me in college that I began to walk with God and grow in my faith – this is when my life really began to change as I began to experience God personally.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

College Ministry – ULM – 98 thru 2001; helped start a discipleship ministry at ULM

Lay disciple-maker – 2002 to present;

Randall Church – 2012-2014 – led the small group ministry, lay leadership community, and Sunday school ministry

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Having godly men over the course of my life who loved me, invested time in me, and modeled the Christian life for me.

Meeting with Steve Moore who discipled me during college.

Getting to help Sean and others move along towards maturing in Christ.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Serving on a church staff where there is unhealthy leadership and an unhealthy leadership structure.

Being led/discipled by someone who did not understand my gifting but was trying to get me to be someone that I’m not.

Later in college, meeting with a mentor who, come to find out, was not walking in a healthy relationship with Christ – he was legalistic.
