S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Andrew Brown for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I grew up in church. My parents always took me to church every time the doors were open. When I was young I talked to my parents about salvation and they went through the plan of salvation with me and I said a prayer and “accepted Christ” and got baptized. But as I got older I always doubted what happened when I was younger and didn’t know if I really meant what I did. So when I was 14 I talked to my Youth Pastor and got assurance of my salvation.
Volunteered in a Bus Ministry for close to two years at South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield.
Volunteered for around five years in a live stream/media ministry at South Haven Baptist Church.
Getting married.
Restoring a relationship that I had once lost with my mother.
Being promoted to a supervisor role at work.
I once became addicted/dependent on marajuana. But I have recovered from that and I am now able to look back and realize what made me become dependent to it and I can relate to others in similar situations.
I suffered for almost three years with depression and anxiety. I was ready to commit suicide a few times and even wrote a note saying goodbye to my family. I can strongly relate to people who suffer from depression. I know what its like feel like you’re nothing.
