Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

2nd generation Christian family

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Presbyterian Church in Taiwan prosperous church

I grew up in church and both of my parents are heavily involved, so I had chance participating/ help out at church communities since I was little until I came to Montreal.

Youth group ( teenage 6 years I was involved in youth group, in charge of entertainment, book keeping, team leader)
Sunday school teacher ( for 2 years),
choir members ( 6+ years)
Church music school teacher’s assistance ( 3+ years)
Summer Camp teacher ( 2 years)
Summer Camp teacher’s assistance ( 6+ years)
Sunday lunch after service ( 8+ years), my mom is part of food preparation team responsible for Saturday evening ( food for kids & youth group) and Sunday snack or lunch after service.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Church food serving. Helping my mom preparing food for different group size could be challenging but also rewarding when seeing people enjoy the food

I enjoy singing in church, no matter choir, worship team, or Sunday school song teaching to kids, these are important memories that keep bringing me back to church. When feeling down, different songs would come to my mind to comfort and encourage me.

My parents used to help out church senior group before they became senior themselves, so, growing up, I also spend quite a lot of time sitting in senior group events. I remember many of them like to tell stories of old time to me and I always find myself learning a lot by simply listening.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Criticism of religion. My parents are first generation Christian family, growing up my relatives used to joke or criticize us betraying family religion which was Taoism. I learn to show more understanding toward others with different religious background.

I was bullied at school because my plus size. Children, especially teenagers could be very cruel without much of good reasons.
I used to be so afraid of boys, because boys at school tended to throw things at me to make fun at my size.

Now I can better preparing myself to face my fear by eliminating unnecessary noise, and at the same time show more compassion to people who don’t yet realize his/her own potential.

My parents are always energetic, their lives are extremely busy for works and church, and others… there’s rarely moment of selfcare time.

I learned my enthusiastic from them where I tend to take in so much responsibility overly exhausted myself forgetting to give time to recharge.

Work life balance is important, especially I have my little ones to think of.
although I still desire to do more, reality is that I need to carefully evaluate my capability without sacrificing my duty of being presents for my little ones .
