Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I accepted Christ at a women of faith even in October of 1999. I grew up with a brief Presbyterian background. Confirmed in the Methodist church. Because of various moves we had in our married life we attended 4 different Lutheran churches. A free church. A CMA church and a church of Christ. Currently attending at obtaining membership at Indianola Community church I knew some about God and that church was important. But my personal relationship began at the event I mentioned It was commercialized yes. But still very moving and meaningful. I was baptized by immersion on October 2006 at Community Heights alliance in Newton iowa.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Community heights alliance Newton iowa. Womens leadership class. Awana leader

Indianola church of Christ first impressions coordinator. Sunday school teacher. Life group leader. Clothing give away coordinator

Indianola community church middle school youth leader 3 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Christian friends in Charles city iowa and life groups in Newton and Indianola

Being a wife and mom. :o)

Switching careers from teaching to what I do now. I’ve learned and grown a lot as a person

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The death of my mom in 2000

A brief road bump in our marriage

Moving several times for my husbands work in our early years. Seemed negative and hard at the time but each time was orchestrated by God and be both learned and grew personally
