S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Angelina Yeo for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Serving (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy serving others just as Christ modelled – servant leadership. I’ve also been given more opportunities to serve and enjoy doing so especially if it’s in the background – could be because of my introverted nature.

#2 Gift, Teaching (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Others have told me so. I enjoy helping others know/understand truths in such a tangible/practical/relational way so they can change/grow to be all that God intends them to BE in Him.

#3 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Basic need of individuals to be loved and nurtured – to be a channel/conduit of God’s love wrapped in skin for each individual He sends my way… “love them to death to self and life in Him”. To be the one who walks alongside those in need so they are encouraged to keep going/pressing on towards the goal of Christ Jesus.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Be able to spend time with individuals and talk about/share experiences of life in Jesus – encourage and nurture each other to fulfilling His purpose in each one of our lives.

2. Be a source of support in practical ways to others, for example, babysitting, cooking, listening ear.

3. Being in the presence of God and getting my “aha” moments with Him then share with others so they are encouraged to do likewise.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Those of like mindedness, babies and young children, women and young adults especially when they’re interested to grow/learn/share.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Equipping and Empowerment for ministry, Children Ministry, community impact

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
