[H]eart
1. I love to study for specific answers to specific situations. I lean towards relevance and application and not just pursuing knowledge for knowledge sake.
2. I love to listen to insights from other teachers on a topic I’m researching. I go on research binges and devour books and videos till I find the answers I’m looking for
3. I love studying ideas and ways other leaders have changed the world
I love being around people who don’t allow the facts to limit them. Instead they are compelled by faith and dream big because they serve a God who does the impossible. I love any age and any type of people who are fearless and defy the odds in accomplishing God’s mission.
I am concerned that the next generation will forget God and water down His truths to the point that every man does what is right in his own sight. I feel an urgency to put into place a process that will continuously develop leaders to bring God’s truth to their communities.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I was raised in a mission school. I hid in the chapel and found comfort talking to Jesus. God was my lifeline in the midst of a turbulent family situation.
Leader for seven years in Beth Moore’s Sunday School Class
Served at College of Biblical Studies for five years, beginning at Director of Women’s Ministry and promoted to VP of Special Projects and Special Assistant to the President
Led Inspire Women for 20 years
Chosen to receive a medal from the Daughters of the American Revolution for being an immigrant who changed America. I was in awe of how God could use a broken vessel and redeemed my story for His purpose.
Graduated top of my class at Dallas Seminary. I was humbled when I found out my class standing and received it as a hug from God to tell me that He had prepared me for His mission.
When a donor nominated me for a leadership award of $100,000 and I didn’t win but the donor gave me the award from her own resources, I was speechless that someone saw something in me I didn’t see. I learned to borrow someone else’s eyes of faith till I could believe in what others saw in me.
I was wounded by my mother who took her own life before I could rescue her from her pain. From the mother I could not save birthed a ministry to empower thousands of women to finish God’s dreams through their lives.
I was wounded by my father who was desperate to keep himself from going under and left his children to fend for themselves. His abandonment led me into the arms of my heavenly Father.
I was betrayed by someone who over promised and under delivered. I learned it was possible to lead with a broken heart and that the mission must be bigger than our personal loss.
