New Life Fellowship (NLF-Houston, TX): House church female leader (~2.5-3 years), house church missionary correspondent (~3 years), house church Word time leader (~2 years), piano girl aka keyboard on praise team (~2 years)

Erin being born – a directly answered prayer and definitely one of the earliest memories I have of understanding the power and grace of God

The chance to go on short-term missions during high school and seeing first-hand the impact of the Lord not only in Korea or the States but in the Russia too (ie. Visiting small churches in Russia and seeing the passion of the believers there)

Being involved in House Church ministry and seeing how God moved people’s hearts to accept Him as Lord as new believers or to grow in their personal faith or to rekindle a faith that was dying out

My mom’s side of the family is non-Christian, and I remember when my grandpa passed away, I didn’t cry at the thought of him dying but that moment when I realized he might not have known Jesus had my bawling my eyes out by myself in my room. My heart aches for my family and friends who don’t know Jesus.

Moving around a lot was hard growing up. While I don’t necessarily think it was a bad thing, I could definitely say it’s difficult finding a good community especially faith community.

Gotta say tensions with my mom were the highest right before getting married. Maybe because I was growing into my adulthood independence or maybe it was the quarantine blues, but it was a point where I really was upset at my mom. My whole life, many of my decisions and actions were for my mom’s approval, and now that I’m an adult, it is growing pains for both of us.
