Thank you Angela Race for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I spent my childhood aware of the void in my heart. Spent all of middle and high school years and some years after school trying to fill that void with men. When that never worked out left me with so much shame. I turned to drugs and alcohol to numb my pain. When I had hurt myself so bad and my family I cried out to God asking him to help me. I didn’t want to live this life anymore if this was it. God was faithful and led me to him at a camp in northern Wisconsin. I started TruNorth a gap year program that helped me figure out who I am in Christ, helped me learn true Godly forgiveness for myself and others. And I’ve been living out the truth that I am Gods child and living in the light ever since.
Fort wilderness ministries, Rhinelander Wisconsin 2015-2017 served in coffee shop as a barista on summer staff. Tru North student for 9months worked in the coffee shop still as an intern. Then worked as the coffee shop assistant manager the next summer and fall. Then was a step up(youth camp) director for a week.
Impact, Lowell MI 2017-2020
Was a leader for 3 years of 6-8th grade girls in the youth group. Also was a mentor for kids hope USA program for 3 years with a young Boy through impact and then was the director for a few months as well.
Moving to Wisconsin. God asked me to step out in blind faith and trust him with everything I had. Definitely made a huge impact on who I am today.
The recommitment of my body to God. To save myself for marriage and to let him write my love story.
Being vulnerable and real with myself and others. Living in the truth instead of living a lie in a illusion because of fear.
Becoming an Alcoholic
Giving myself away to men over and over because I didn’t know my worth
Feeling unloved my a parent and wondering what is wrong with me for them to not love me.
