S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Ashley Thompson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. I like to learn and experience new things. New experiences are exciting. Scary? Sure, but exciting nonetheless.
2. Music makes me feel good. If I’m not actively listening to music, there’s a song in my head.
3. I like to do things with my hands. It could be cleaning, cooking, reading, or even helping dad with building various projects. Just not ironing. I hate ironing.
Ages 3-25 are what I’m usually grouped with. I don’t personally have a preference.
Why would I be excited about an issue? The word “issue” has a negative connotation to me. To answer the question though, don’t really know what concerns me or excites me most,
Marriage/family issues
Abuse/violence
At-risk children
[A]bilities
….high school student. I don’t feel an aptitude to any particular career at the moment.
McDonald’s?
Sleeping at unusual times.
In all honesty, I don’t know. I can write, but not very well. I can sing, but also not very well. All of my “talents” are only half-talents honestly.
I wrote an essay about “Blue Live Matters” once and ended up having to give it as a speech in front of about a hundred people once. There were some facts in there. That’s a lesson, right?
No clue.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
Just sort of happened one day. I asked Hannah if she’d hang out after school and tada!
nope
Schooling at Livingstone
That’s all I can think of.
When my parents had to sell our beds because we couldn’t afford them. It made me feel grateful for what I have in life and made me open my eyes to those who are going through difficult times in their lives.
When my parents split because they were going through hard times. (same time as the beds being sold) I felt so lost and confused. Now I feel compassion for children that are dealing with broken families or children dealing with a life in a home where there seems to always be some argument or fight going on.
Depression. Years of battles raging withing my mind.
Wrapping It Up

- Everyone Else After those
3. Giving to charities constantly.
4. I would go to college and earn multiple degrees.
5. Probably sing or write. Maybe both.
