This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I get no better satisfaction and joy in life then sharing the gospel with anyone that will listen. I often look and pray for opportunities to witness to people and ways in which I can better communicate it with others.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a deep passion that both believers and unbelievers hear and understand God’s word. I get excited to be able to teach at a bible study or chapel service spiritual truths that God is teaching or has taught me.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Without properly understanding what God’s word is saying people will be led astray. So I have a burning passion that the word must be taught verse by verse to explain and tell what God has and is saying to us. The only way people come to faith or grow in their faith is by understanding and hearing his word. Thus is must be told and taught!
[H]eart
1. Sharing the Gospel.
2. Spending time with my wife and kids.
3. Explaining and teaching the bible to others.
I love working with young adult men. That’s probably because as a Marine I get to spend a lot of time with young military age men looking to either better themselves, make a difference, or push themselves.
The church is full of false converts, baby Christians, and unbelievers who need to hear God’s word taught and explained! I have a huge conviction that bible exposition in verse by verse teaching will grow and mature Christians and equip them to do what God is calling them to do. We all need the full counsel of God not just our favorite parts. Also people need to hear the gospel fully explained to them. I’m grieved to find people who sit in church all their life and yet have never actually heard what the bible teaches about salvation.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
As a young child I heard about God and decided not to follow him because I wanted to do my own thing. As time went on I completely denied his existence due to living a life characterized by self and doing whatever felt good. However, in the midst of my rebellion God pursued me by putting different Christians in my life that would share his truth with me. I started to feel convicted about my empty life of drunkenness, drug use, and porn addiction. I knew what I was doing was wrong. Also, at the same time I was about to finish college, begin a career in the military, and become a father so I knew things needed to change. God put people in my life that spoke about his justice and how he is perfect and will judge every crime. They used the 10 commandments to show me that I needed a savior and on judgement day I wouldn’t measure up on my own. They also told me about how my penalties were paid in full by Jesus and God could legally dismiss my case if I accepted and received him as my lord and savior. After some time of seeing the love of Christians, and hearing his word taught, I received a letter in the mail from a random church at my girlfriend’s apartment that told me “You are at a cross roads in your life, and need to decide which path you are going to take” I prayed and trusted God to save me in that moment.
