Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a Christian as an adult. When dating my husband, he invited me to his church. I felt the Spirit in the middle of service and after the service met with the Pastor, Roy Wheeler who answered my many questions. He boiled it down – Following Christ is not about religion – its about a growing relationship with Him. I started reading scriptures for the first time, and between my husband, Pastor Wheeler, they helped me understand God’s Word.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

All at Bedford/Highland Meadows/Compass: Youth Group Sponsor 3 years; Missions Team 6 years; Childrens/Early Childhood 20 years; Administrative (HR) 5 years. Covenant Christian – 3 years Assist in Drama/Music Dept.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Serving in Missions –

Serving in Children’s Ministry

Serving in HR

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Loving my sister through her battles with alcoholism. She lost that battle. I feel deeply for both those suffering with alcohol dependency; and their loved ones who deal with the issues and consequences.

Still walking through this – my mom suffering with Alzheimer disease. The emotional turmoil on my dad and family & me; gives me great compassion for those who have a family member with the disease.

Growing up, my dad was often out of town, my mom was not expressive at all with us – I don’t recall hugs or “I love you”. There isn’t a day that I don’t tell my family “I love you” or hug them. While I’m not as demonstrative as some, I feel I’m much more demonstrative than I was when I was much younger, because I know the importance of knowing you are loved. – without conditions.
