3. When I can make a difference in a life or workplace then I experience joy! Recently I was asked to bake cookies for a person that was a student at Hiland when I worked there. He is now married with a family but he still remembers those morning cookies I baked for them all the time. That makes me very happy and brings me great joy! All those early early mornings and hard work were not in vain! … and I will bake him cookies and deliver them to him…

Dont know that i have a specific. When I worked at the nursing home I loved the elderly and working with them. In working at the High School I loved that group of kids. At Der Dutchman I was involved in a mid older group. I am now helping with Kindergarteners at church and I love that age too. I think when I feel fulfilled in what I’m doing , age is not a factor.

I am always concerned that truth is taught. The Bible never changes so Bibical truths I learned as a child, If I see them spoken and taught differently now I get very concerned! Truth is always truth I have learned. We as selfish people try to change it to make it adaptible to what we want, but truth from the Word always is truth. It does not change.

(Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

[E]xperience

I accepted Jesus as a young child. I have rededicated my life on several occasions. God has been very good to me in that even tho life has taken me places where i never imagined. He has never let go . And it has created a burning desire to help those who are going thru bad times.. there is hope. I an living proof.

The example of my mother and father. They lived Christ. Every day.

I had 2 sons that were in an accident when they were 6and 9 Both were life flighted. I have never forgotten that time I realized God could take them both. Instead He gifted them back to me… what a time … what a story…

As a child my church would have tent revival meetings. My parents would faithfully attend night after night for 2 weeks with 7 children in tow I remember the one pastor that was my favorite. I remember one message title”O that Ishmael might die” The feelings that I felt come back as I think on those weeks… Choosing to follow Jesus forever happened in those meetings. ” the tent used to be set up in someone’s hay field” sweet sweet times

The worst time in my life was when my husband left our family… it also became the time I made a life line connection with God… it changed my view of God and life.. it opened my heart to others and filled me with compassion and forgiveness that I didnt know one could have..

I took care of my husbands elderly grandmother for 7 years in our home. To the public, she was a next to an impossible person. I had no choice but to figure out how to live and work with her. I would like to think that till she died she had changed her heart and saw that kindness was the way to live.

I belonged to a church previously that spent much time in accusations and strife. I remember crying much and feeling judged and hurt beyond. I also then remember the pastor sitting down with me and saying sorry and asking for forgiveness … and the bad bad times slipped into the “past”

3. I would walk along side those who have experienced divorce or other family dynamics. I would want to encourage them to never give up. To always be faithful. God does restore.

5. I would go serve at an Orphanage in a mission \ hold babies or teach little ones
