Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My father was a pastor. I went to church regularly as a child. I think I always believed, but one day asked my father to baptize me to let others know my decision.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Sunday school teacher, choir/special music

Organize fund raisers for different ministries (a homeless shelter, mission trips etc…)

I have not been to church in many years.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Working for financial services industry

Parenting/strong family life

Traveling to the Philippines for two years

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Struggle with anxiety/depression/multiple suicide attempts

Marital issues regarding finances and emotional abuse. My husband’s death that coincided with empty nesting and my three children leaving.

A struggle to be my own person/not live to meet others expectations.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I would build an online business (one that promotes a lifestyle of minimalism, giving to others, and kindness/love) that generates $100,000 a month. Live a life of voluntary poverty. Save, invest, and create a foundation that would benefit people with mental illness that have been abandoned by their families. A ministry that would show them that recovery begins with renewing your relationship with God, and that all else is built on that foundation. A ministry that would help them find a way to support themselves and give back to the communities they live in. A net that catches those that are so hopeless they do not want to live. And a ministry that shows those who are healthy how they can show love and compassion to the mentally ill and make a difference in their lives.

4. I would travel the world. Learn about other cultures and try to understand the diversity of the world we live in. God’s purpose for that diversity and how we can work together as world citizens to create a kinder, more tolerant, more sustainable world for our heirs. I would find a way to communicate what I had learned to others through either a website/blog, or seminars.

5. I would be in touch with my mother every day. I would talk to my children regularly and be a person that they would feel comfortable coming to with any problem they might have. I would be a positive and loving influence in my grandchildren’s lives. My family and friends would remember me as a kind, caring, giving, loving person.
