Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I describe my faith walk as “The Three Great Awakenings of Ed Bednarczyk” The first was when I believed as a kid. Probably driven more by a fear of hell than anything else, but a real belief none the less. The second was at baptism (I was 13 ) where I recognized my belief as more than just an extension of what my parents (and the church members) believed. The third was in college, where my beliefs were challenged (and persevered).

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

1978 Camp Counselor, Evangelical Baptist Camp, Ashford, CT

Teaching – almost every church I have attended

Church Committee Evangelical Baptist Church, Buffalo, NY 1993-95
Elder 2018 – present

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Missions trips to Ecuador, China

Challenges to my faith

HS youth group leader – Mark Jalovick

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Growing up in a rather legalistic little church

Challenges to my faith

Growing up protestant in an overwhelmingly Roman Catholic community

Wrapping It Up

Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Spend more time LISTENING to God speak

4. Represent a christian view in a variety of public issues – Physician assisted suicide, etc
