Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

grew up in the church talking about how there is a relational God who wants to partner with you in life and met God’s presence in worship then in prayer then in all other areas of my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Peace Lutheran Church 20+ years, Cross Ridge Church (2 years), Northside church

youth ministry, dance and performance art ministry, worship, small group, kids ministry, service projects, missions coordinating

not sure on dates of any of this. Didn’t/don’t keep track of this.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

being raised with 4 sisters and both parents staying together through a rough patch when I was in high school.

being groomed as a leader in the church my whole up bringing.

traveling overseas for mission trips. Ecuador, Haiti, africa, and mexico.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

setting boundaries with a co-dependent friendship that did a lot of taking and not a lot of giving.

getting pretty far into debt with paying bills on credit cards without paying them off and having to couch surf while figuring it all out.

church split, half of the families leaving and feeling like it was up to me and the few youth left to pick up the pieces without having freedom to choose.
