#1 Gift, Administration (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I deeply enjoy leading others towards a goal. Delegating out authority and supporting/encouraging people while they work to accomplish their portion of a project brings me satisfaction. Casting vision and brainstorming with people, then breaking it down into attainable micro-goals that lead to accomplishing the vision is satisfying work. I enjoy encouraging others to become stronger leaders and watching them succeed.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I deeply enjoy time in God’s word and when I learn something new, either alone or through Bible study, I am excited to share it with others immediately. Learning the word and sharing it fills me with passion.

#3 Gift, Teaching (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Encouraging others and building them up is not only a passion of mine but a skill I seek to develop. I enjoy identifying others’ skills and talents and encouraging them in directions where they can use those skills/talents to make a significant impact. I enjoy getting to point out what people do well and build them up; no matter what love language is best for building them up.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a Church setting. Learned a lot about the Bible and Christianity but until 5th grade, it was more academic than relational. In 5 & 6 grade, I joined a small group and found a deep true community that collectively sought to pursue the Lord. The group leader challenged me and through his questions helped me realize that the things I knew were true required action that aligned. I would argue I began to pursue a relationship with God then. As I went into public high school, my faith was tested in a really cool way. Under the pressure I was pushed towards standing for my faith and stepping up. My Sophomore year on I began to get involved in Christian organizations where I could serve and teach. I also was very active in Bible studies all through high school which provided great community and growth spiritually. Coming into College has taught me that my relationship with the Lord and that pursuit has to be my highest priority.
