Thank you Ben Kihiko for taking the SHAPE Assessment. #1 Gift, Mercy Showing (65%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
It affects me when others are suffering. As a born again Christian I have Christ and his word in me and my deeds must reflect this truth. I am very happy and satisfied when I meet another person’s need even at my expense of time or money.

#2 Gift, Serving (65%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
It’s a joy to serve. Every day in life we are either serving or being served. When I serve I meet someone else need. Its more rewarding especially in christian circles or in spiritual needs.

#3 Gift, Teaching (62%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
We’ve all been taught to be where we are in life irrespective of what it is we do for a living. In the realms of God we’re still learning. The great commission is an instruction for every believer. I love to communicate in a very basic level the truths of God’s word I learn in my every day walk with God.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. To be able to pray and get answered prayer. When I get knowledge, wisdom or light from God on what to do in certain issues I am praying for whether for myself or on behalf of others.

2. To be able to read the Bible and get revelation. God answers prayers in many ways but it excites me when a scripture or bible story sheds light on what I should do or advise others am praying for.

3. When am able to worship and have break through in fellowship with God. That time when my spirit overcomes my flesh to commune with God. this is usually a battle i hardly win but when I do it lingers within me for a long time.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I belonged to a denominational church but never knew the Lord Jesus in any personal way. After attending another church I was convicted and challenged to know God in a personal way which made me leave church all together.
I gave my life to Christ and became born again 4 months later. its been several years now and am happy for this decision. God has been faithful.
