Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a Christian family and was a 4th generation Christian of Pastors and Missionaries. But everything to me was just head knowledge. When I was very little, I was molested by a family member for about a year. This resulted to a huge family problem and my mind corrupted by immorality at an early age. I found the church full of rules and I couldn’t understand why there are a lot of things that we cannot do. I became a lukewarm Christian. Weekdays was living for myself and on weekends, I was this good girl. This carried on until I was in highschool. Yes, I committed to a lot of ministries. But it was all emotionally driven. In college, I got from bad to worse. Eventually, I dropped out to work and became a lot more worst. My life was all SADIR (sadder). Sex, alcohol, drugs and immoral relationships. I rebelled against God and even tried to disprove Him. Until one day, I found out I was pregnant. I was really determined to escape the situation I was in, and so I did. Guilt consumed me after, but I covered it up with more parties and a lot more SADIR. I got everything that I wanted, but I still felt unhappy and restless. Until one day at church, my heart was captured by Matthew 11:28-30 which says, “Come to me all you who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest…”. I was reminded that only in Jesus, will I have the peace that I was longing for. I signed up in an upcoming encounter one, Singles Retreat and the rest is history. Life did not become perfect. My faith is tested numerous times. But in every encounter, the Lord was there to see me through.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

When I did not come home for 3 days, my parents gave me a new cellphone and served me with the food I wanted to eat. Now that’s unconditional love. I wake up in the middle of the night and seeing them laying their hands on me in prayer. If not for that, I wouldn’t agree to come to church again.

When all of my friends deserted me during the time that I was broken and needed someone, my Dgroup sisters were there for me and they just listened and gave me time even if it was already inconvenient. I felt so loved. That taught me how to show unconditional love, even if it’s already inconvenient.

Growing up, my Mom taught us bible verses and kids praise songs as early as I can remember. She also taught me how to read, pray and share the gospel to others. If not for her, I wouldn’t be knowledgeable about Jesus, His word and I will not have this deep passion of serving others. I saw how she cared and served people, that’s why it’s so easy for me to do that as well.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My depression and suicide attempt.

My family issues. Dad being a drug addict, experiencing verbal and physical abuse, used to be a broken family as well due to Dad’s addiction and infidelity.

My morbid past life/mistakes like the abortion, alcoholism, drugs, immorality, etc.
