Gender or age does not really matter, it is the willingness to serve. I enjoy church projects that put a better “light” on St. John’s.

I am very concerned about Covid and the way it has damaged our sense of “community”. I also worry about church/school relations.

[E]xperience

i grew up going to church but I married into the Episcopal church and that is when I began my journey into really becoming a Christian.

I was married in 1980 to my partner in life, Susie.

My parents were always there for me, supportive, loving and forgiving.

My children changed my life, making me grow up and then grand children are the greatest blessing.

The decade of the “80’s” created a very unsteady work environment with lost opportunities. I lost confidence in my abilities and it took some time to overcome.

I have lost friends to abuse issues and should have worked harder to help them fight thru as opposed to distancing from them.

i did not support and encourage my children as well as I should have in their (and my ) path to living a better Christian life.
