Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I was involved with a youth group on Thursday night our pastor HW Baker called it our RAP GROUP. We had a minister that came for our fall Revival, during that time 10 young people were baptized in the Little Miami River. I was raised by very strong Christian parents.
SLIGO BAPTIST-Sligo Ohio Sunday School teacher FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH- Springfield Ohio- Junior Church teacher SHELBY CHRISTIAN CHURCH- K vacation Bible School teacher and Junior Church…. Lydia’s Ladies
My coaches when I was growing up were always strong Christian leaders and they were always very open about their faith. We would pray before each game and they would encourage you to walk the walk and talk the talk.
My Aunt was diagnosed with cancer when I was in the 8th grade, I spent a lot of time with her because she needed help after she had a stroke. My parents sent me to Pennsylvania to help care for my Aunt Sally and Uncle Henry during that time I realized that my Aunt didn’t really have a relationship with the Lord. I can .emember our long talks and the awesome Pastor that became her spiritual advisor. I was 17 years old when my Aunt Sally went to Heaven, I can honestly say that she taught me as much about God as I taught her about FAITH
My brother John is 4 1/2 years older than me he always was my protector, we both excepted the Lord and we were baptized on the same day. We were raised in a very strict home and our parents expected us to behave in sports but most of all in life that others could see we were Christians
Gossip- when we moved to Kentucky there was a lot of rumors about the OHIO developers. I learned then to pray for folks that enjoyed the rumor mill.
Feeling left out, its tough when you move to a new town and leave all of your family. My daughter Kylee was 2 years old so of course it wasn’t easy to have play dates because we didn’t know anybody. I was blessed because she attended First Baptist Preschool and we made a lot of friends.
Prayer Warriors: I always was great about praying for others but I didn’t usually ask God for help until Pap got sick it was during that time that I realized how we all need daily prayers, the Pastors at Shelby Christian helped me through one of the toughest times of my Life……
