[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Came to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior at a Revival at our church in Illinois when I was in my late 20’s due to a very charismatic minister of my age.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I have served on almost all church committees during my lifetime from organizing revival meetings to chairing chicken dinner fund raisers…but primarily finance and treasurer.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Marrying my wife.

Discovering that Jesus is there watching and helping even when you don’t realize he is there…ranging from our son falling head over heels down a flight of stairs when he was just learning to walk without a bruise on him…to getting inspiration from my wife to start writing gospel music and for her not to remember the conversation even taking place later.

Having patience and waiting for a sign from God and then all things “magically” fall into place.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Having prostate cancer.

Losing a loved one.

Stuttering as a child and not able to communicate your thoughts without feeling self conscious.
