#1 Gift, Administration (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
It is something I feel I am good at (organizing, planning, detail oriented) and I really enjoy doing!

#2 Gift, Serving (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always had a servants heart. The Church I grew up in kind of emphasized having a servants heart. And I was around people who lived fed serving. It is something that makes me happy. Whether it is playing on the worship team, or stacking chairs. Whatever I can do to help the church and/or leaders of the church makes me feel as though it is another way to help advance Gods work.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (62%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I just naturally have an encouraging attitude. No matter what the situation. I find myself sometimes down about a situation and without even trying I can think about something to get me out of a slump. Whether that is about myself or other people. I can find the positive in almost every situation. I can also find strengths in people. I feel as though I do a good job at pointing that out. I do have a very big passion for people.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a Christian home. I first accepted Christ when I was five years old. When I was in middle school, I started to fully understand what a relationship with God actually meant. My eighth grade year, I got involved with a bad crowd and started making poor choices. In 10th grade I started fully making God a priority. Ever since then I feel I have had a solid relationship with God.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Faith Christian Church in Mauston, WI. Probably have been serving in church for about 13 years.

I have served in charge as long as I can remember. In a variety of different ways, including nursery, worship team, welcome team, ushering, accounting, coffee shop. I am sure there are more. I have served in a large variety of ways.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My old Pastor and his wife had an amazing marriage and were some of the most amazing people I have ever known. They were great encouragers, leaders, and mentors for me. They have helped me understand what it looks like to truly love Christ with everything and how to be a true Christ follower.

I volunteeed a lot with the church secretary at my old church. In working with her, I have come to realize how much I love administration work.

When I was in high school, I went through a phase of sneaking out. When I got caught sneaking out, I had a friend who I talked to and she was very encouraging and diligently prayed for me. It made a very big impact on me.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I have a kind of long story past with my family. I have a blended family, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. My parents are both previously divorced, but together had me. Between my siblings, there was drug use, alcohol abuse, and sleeping around. I constantly think about Proverbs 22:6, ‘Train up a child in the way he should go :and he will not depart from it.’ By the time my parents were trying to teach us right, my siblings were already doing their ‘own thing.’ Growing up in the environment that I did, made me realize the kind of parent I want to be.

I was bullied in high school very bad. I feel like I try to include everyone because I know what it’s like to be left out and made fun of. I’ve been volunteering at Crosspoint student ministries, and I make sure to say hi to everyone and try to make everybody feel welcome. I think I’ve come to realize that most bullies act out towards other people because they have negative experiences at home. I think I’ve started to develop a passion for bullies and trying to understand why they do it.
