[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love doing day-to-day life with my wife, whether it be walking our dog at the park, trying out a new restaurant, designing our home, or planning a vacation.

2. Participating in fellowship and meaningful friendship with like-minded men that share my faith and/or values. Growing together and helping each other through life.

3. Physical activity and outdoors recreation, such as lifting weights, hiking, running with my dog, or exploring nature

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Talented, interesting, curious, and mission-driven people. People that are well-rounded and lead from their values. People who live with purpose and passion.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I’m excited by a church that puts its faith into action. A church that balances truth and grace. A church that priorities relationships and community. A church that teaches spiritual formation.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Meeting and experiencing men who lived with excellence and performed work that I aspired to, but that also lived out of a character of peace, hope, and love that attracted me to know God more personally – I wanted what they had! They taught me about generosity, forgiveness, and most of all God’s grace through faith in Jesus.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Journey Church – Sunday morning set-up team

Light of the Lord Global Missions – Uganda

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Meeting and marrying my wife, Bianca

Meeting Rob and his community of friends (Dr. Carkhuff), saying ‘yes’ to living with the Owen’s and starting LOLGM

Getting my Master’s degree in Positive OD and working for Roam simultaneously

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Making an idol out of sex and immoral relations with women

Not getting my 5th year at Villanova

Failing to lead LOLGM
