S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Marlene Lamming for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I was raised in church and felt that I became a Christian at an early age. It wasn’t until we moved back to Casper in 2000 that I really began to have a relationship with God. I experienced some hard times with my marriage that helped to draw me even closer with God and my spouse. I have a heart for God and want to serve where He needs me.

Celebrate Recovery at HPCC
I think being raised in the Nazarene Church helped to keep me connected to God even though I would wander away at times.
I was able to go to Africa on a mission trip. It helped me to know that I feel blessed when I can make a difference.
I think that being involved in community groups has been a major part of my growth with God.
Our first son was born 2 months premature. Going through the struggles with him gave me the desire to go into nursing.
We went through a hard time in our marriage but survived it and are better and stronger now. I have a desire to walk beside others to help them see that their marriage can survive.
My husband was diagnosed with a rare pelvic tumor. We have had a strong support system through it all. I know others go through medical issue and don’t have support. I want to help others that are hurting.
