S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Ben West for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
Was raised in christian home, so always was taught about God etc… Faith became my own at a course run by the youth movement The Boys Brigade called leadership ( designed to raise boys into strong men of God). Had a revelation of the love that was given and what was poured out for me and a powerful desire to serve and follow was created. Have continued walking on that path of serving and following since.
NCO/ Leader at 3rd Gold coast Boys Brigade- Reedy Creek Baptist Church- 4 Years
Youth Leader- C3 Spectrum Church – 2 Years
Leadership ( a course held every year over 3 years) could easily put each year separately but as a whole completely life changing and paradigm/ belief shaking course. Just being in an environment and culture that has been around for 30 years and being discipled by Men of God. Too much goodness to summarize here.
Meeting my Best friend in a school were no one else was christian except us and having us clash constantly but still have a real sense of camaraderie and reach into the school.
Moving to a new church/ home and finding myself among a group of believers and being pushed and placed in an environment of spirit filled believers.
Being Bullied in Primary school ( didn’t really have friends till high school)
makes me want to be inclusive not extrusive.
Living in a garage in summer in very close proximity to my best friend and having both of us sharpen each other ( Like iron to the extreme).
Parents disapproving of myself moving out of home and church. But being able to work through stuff with them and other situations was awesome.
