#1 Gift, Evangelism (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am very passionate about letting Christ known to people, especially to those who never heard before. So many bible passages compel me to do this, and it gives me joy to witness people coming to be enlightened with the truths from the Gospel.

#2 Gift, Giving (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This is the area that I’m starting to grow more as I learn more about it, as I learn that everything comes from God and I want to be the best steward of the resources He provides for me.

#3 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I get a comment a lot that I care for the people. One of the bible characters that I relate to the most is Peter, and also with the last chapter of John where Jesus talks about feeding and taking care of his sheep motivates me to shepherd God’s people.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. People who didn’t know about Jesus coming to know Christ for salvation and the purpose of life, being brought out to light from the darkness.

2. Giving advise and encouragement to the body of believers.

3. Reading God’s Word with others and talking about His Word.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

college, people who are unengaged and don’t have an access to the Gospel.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Love how CCC is aiming towards reaching more internationals. Seems like there are very not many college students from church who are involved with that mission where lots of internationals in Ames are students.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in non-christian family, but came to believe in God in high school when I came to study in United States when I was 15 years old. It wasn’t until my freshman year of college when I believed in Jesus and understood the Gospel. God made me into a new creation by bringing me out from the darkness of my purposeless life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Navigators, Ames/IA, Bible study leader, 2 years

International Student Ministry, Ames/IA, Small group facilitator, 1 year

Christ Community Church, Ames/IA, helpers as needed, 1 year

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Nicaragua, doing engineering work among the poor

JAX – intense summer training to grow in my relationship with Chirst

International Student Ministry – so cool to see God working

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Breaking up with my ex-boyfriend.

One year when I had to return back to S. Korea for my sickness.

Puzzling about my major in college
