Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

For general information grades 3-7. For specific needs in the church- preteen/teen girls and women. I have found girls need specific role models for their Christian lives. Very few role models are worth having any more

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Teaching, music, helping those in need. I see many families suffering without the things they may need to provide for themselves

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was saved and baptized at the age of five. I remember thinking that I needed Jesus in my heart. I grew up in the church singing, volunteering, and teaching. It is what makes me who I am today.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My grandfather is probably the greatest testament of my Christian life. When I think of a Christian and their influence on others, he is the man that comes to my mind. I wish I could bottle his wisdom and keep it to share with others.

My parents are the greatest example of a loving Christian couple. I grew up in a home with two amazing parents who showed me the Love of God can change many things.- even hard hearts.

A stroke- while this may seem negative, it is not. At the age of 21 I learned exactly how much I depend on my God. Throughout out my life or death experience, I learned that God holds us all in his hands.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My divorce- I became a very bitter angry person after my first marriage ended. I felt betrayed and judged by everyone including individuals in the church. BUT it helped me to realize that only God can judge me and He is always on my side. I also learned to not judge others and to love them exactly the way they are.

My son was born with Cerebral palsy. It helps me to understand that God makes us all for a purpose. Raising a child with a disability is incredibly difficult, but it has taught me compassion for all individuals with special needs.

  • Everyone Else After those
