Adult women and adult Christians who love Jesus.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Immediately after I gave birth to my daughter, I thought, “There is no such thing as the big bang theory. This is a miracle!” A little over a year later after having a set of twins, my husband and I decided to start going to church so we could “have nice friends for our children to play with.” After attending for two Sundays, I raised my hand at the altar call and asked Jesus into my heart.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Started and administered individual small prayer support groups for our Pastor’s wives.
Bear Valley Community Church, Big Bear Lake
1 year

Big Bear Calvary Chapel – Women’s Ministry Director (short term until we got a new Pastor. His wife then asked me to be assistant director) 3 years

Baseball Chapel – Women’s Ministry Chaplain for professional minor league team players’ wives and girl friends.
Storm Baseball Team, Lake Elsinore, CA
11 years

Women’s ministry leadership team
Led discipleship ministry
Orchard Church, Temecula CA
2 + years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Serving military wives through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars

Help start the women’s Chaplain ministry through Baseball Chapel, a national ministry.

Draw along side women and encourage them in a personal walk with Jesus.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Overcome the pain and challenges of being dyslexic.

Surviving metastasized cancer and recently melanoma on my face in which I had eight surgeries.

Not being accepted into cliques. I am not a follower, but it is painful to not be embraced and included in a group.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Lead a ministry in my church

4. Mentor a small group of women

5. Support my Pastors in the direction God has given them a vision for our church family.
