Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I trusted Jesus for salvation when I was 6 years old. I grew up in a family who believed and followed after Jesus. My mom was reading me a devotion at night when I was young around Easter time and I told her that I wanted Jesus to save me from my sin. She prayed with me that night. As I grew, my relationship with God become more my own. In high school, I knew that I really wanted to follow hard after Him and I seek Him on my own. I have seen God continue to change my life as each year passes and I become closer to Him.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Suburban Christian Church (Virginia Beach, VA) – Children’s Church Director and Teacher (3-4 years), Preschool Teacher (2 years), Worship Band Keyboard/Piano (3-4 years), Youth Leader (3 years), Small Group Leader (3-4 years), Awana Leader (2 years), VBS leader (9 years)

Big Island Baptist Church (Big Island, VA) – Youth Leader (1.5 years)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Having my grandparents live in our home as a child and helping care for them as they aged

Making the decision to homeschool our kids

Moving to Bluffton, SC

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

having an emergency hysterectomy after our third child was born

the sudden divorce of my in-laws

the death of our friends first baby
