S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Jessica Nance for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

1. Raising & teaching my children in a Godly way
2. Using natural remedies to aid in healing the body- cooking nutritional whole food, minimally processed
3. Staying fit & active with my family-exploring the great outdoors

The unwillingness of the church body to get involved in some type of ministry, to willingly serve others. If everyone would hear & act on a call of ministry there would be nothing lacking at any church

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I grow up in a Christian home, asked Jesus in my heart at age 6, but struggled with the flesh growing up
college & career- CVC
Young Married-CVC
Children ministry-CVC
Marring my husband Bryan, he has taught me to be more kind, loving, gentle & understanding. I am a more purposeful person because of him
Adopting Johnny & bringing him into our lives, I cannot image our family life without him now
visiting a children’s orphanage in Mexico, I have always had a heart to adopt
My sinful behaviors when I was a young adult, living for myself & ignoring truth. It has equipped me to deal with our oldest son with love, kindness & God’s truth
The lack of godly discipline in my household when I was a child. It has been a driving force to raise my own children in absolute truth
Dating just to date, to have someone. This has helped the way I deal with other people & sharing with them my past & how unfulfilling it was because God wasn’t the center of my life at the time
